Try to deactivate the “accessibility mode” in “Appearance -> Widget”, that could solve the problem.
Did you tried to drag-and-drop the widget with the Chrome browser?

Hi Daniel,

Great plugin! Installation and setup went smoothly. The only thing that doesn’t seem to work is the widget. I cannot drag-and-drop it to the sidebar. It’s there, but I cannot move it. Am I doing something wrong?

In der Zwischenzeit update doch von DMSGuestbook 1.12.1 auf die aktuelle Version 1.15.0

Habe den Plugin installiert, bekomme das Guestbook angezeigt inkl antispam code. Aber
bekomme weder Name, Email – Text vor den Felder angezeigt. Habe alles probiert.

Hi Andrew

The input field for url on DMSGuestbook is limited to 50 chars length.
You could expand this with a tool like phpmyadmin.
Look out for the url field in wp_dmsguestbook and change this.

Thanks for making this plugin.
The website feature seems to only be able to link to an url of a specific length or less. Is there any way to lengthen it?

Yes (and thanks for the guestbook post). It looks like there was an incompatibility with the wp-cache plugin. I added /guest-book/ (the page slug for the guestbook page) to the list of exclusions in wp-cache and it’s working fine now. Hope that helps others! Maybe DMSguestbook could call wp-cache to expire the relevant page when a new guestbook entry is added/deleted/approved.

Thanks for the great plugin! Everything is working fine except that guestbook entries are only shown for logged-in users. Can they be shown to public users?
